Madonna has caused quite the stir thanks to her Met Gala outfit choice on Monday evening, with some fans of the singer going as far as to brand her "unrecognisable".The music icon leaned heavily in the "Fashion is Art" dress code at Monday's extravaganza, arriving in a custom Saint Laurent creation that certainly caught the eye.The 67-year-old singer's gothic ensemble drew directly from British-Mexican artist Leonora Carrington's painting The Temptation of Saint Anthony, featuring a dramatic ship headpiece perched on top of a dark cap with silver detailing.Seven female assistants surrounded the star, each wearing pastel gowns and sheer blindfolds whilst carrying her flowing cape, which billowed around her to create the impression of a ship caught in stormy seas.
