A cruise ship has been forced to dock in western France after a British passenger is believed to have died and about 50 people have shown symptoms of norovirus.Officers in France confirmed more than 1,700 passengers and crew have been left stranded on a cruise ship docked in Bordeaux.The Ambassador Cruise Line ship, with a majority of the 1,233 passengers from Britain or Ireland, arrived in the western port of Bordeaux earlier today.The vessel, left the Shetland Islands on May 6 before stopping in Belfast, Liverpool and Brest in France before reaching Bordeaux, from where it was scheduled to depart for Spain.
