Experts have warned drivers that they will face record prices for diesel this weekend as fuel costs continue to rise across the UK.RAC Fuel Watch data shows that motorists are currently paying 198.32p per litre for diesel after a rapid rise in price since the start of the month.On average, diesel prices are rising by 0.57p per litre every day, having jumped almost 56p, or 39 per cent, since the start of the Iran war.While petrol prices are also rising at a concerning rate for motorists, it remains a long way from record costs seen in the summer of 2022.
