Dockless electric bike firms in the City of London could face fines of up to £10,000 a month if they repeatedly fail to deal with badly parked bikes and poor rider behaviour.Tougher rules were approved by the City of London Corporation's Streets and Walkways Sub-Committee on Tuesday, with offenders now facing harsher penalties.The agreement covers the three companies allowed to operate in the Square Mile, including Lime, Forest and Voi.

It was approved in two votes, with the committee backing the new agreement by seven votes to one and approving Voi as a third operator by five votes to two.
