Chinese manufacturing giant BYD has shown off its revolutionary Flash Chargers in the UK for the first time as it looks to build on its dominance across the country.BYD has given the first demonstration of the Flash Charging technology at its UK headquarters in front of impressed VIP guests, including executive vice president Stella Li.The Flash Chargers, alongside the latest Blade Battery 2.0, are able to charge an electric car using a staggering 1,500kW through a single connector.This allows drivers to charge their electric cars from five to 70 per cent in just five minutes, in a move that could eliminate concerns around long charging times.
