A benefits cheat has been convicted of stealing nearly £28,000, but has now been given nearly 500 years to pay back the cash.Lesleyann McLean, 44, had been living with her husband while illegally claiming she had been living alone.

Perth Sheriff Court ordered McLean to pay back the tax cash at a rate of £5 per month - less than a Netflix subscription.The plan means McLean will take more than 465 years to repay her ill-gotten gains, and is set to fully return the funds when she turns 510.
